Let's hit the road! To feel more confident on the road, come to the filling station "Gazpromneft" - refuel with quality fuel to full, inflate the tires, fill the washbasin and take coffee with healthy snacks! Cool emotions from the trip!
After a long journey, it's a good idea to eat. I recommend you visit the "Why Not?" steak house. The room, stylized as an English pub, will delight you with a wide range of menus. There are also special discounts and offers on weekdays, thanks to which you can have breakfast on a budget.
Joint Institute for Nuclear Research - the place from which the construction of the closed city of Dubna began. This is where the work on the creation of the atomic bomb in the USSR was carried out. Ordering a tour is easy enough. Not later than 7 days before arrival in JINR, it is necessary to fill in the online form on [institute's site](http://ucnew.jinr.ru/ru/visit-school) and thus to fix date of visit. Please note that tours are available for visitors older than 14 years. The tour lasts 3 hours and includes: visits to laboratories and the JINR Museum, as well as lunch in the dining room. Tours are available on working days from 10:00 to 18:00.
This place is known thanks to poets-composers, who were forbidden here in Soviet times, such as Vysotsky and Okudzhava. In the foyer there is a permanent exposition dedicated to the history of the founding of the city. The area around the DC is also remarkable. Nearby in the pine forest you can see the monument to V. Vysotsky, scientists B. Pontecorvo and V. V. Vysotsky. Dzhelepov, and also magnificent mosaics of Nadia Lezhe with portraits of great people of Russia.
Not everyone knows that Dubna is the center of Russian Europe. This monument was erected relatively recently (in 2005). If you take a couple of photos here, you can surprise your friends.
On the bank of the Moscow Canal is the second largest monument to Lenin (36 meters). An interesting fact: in Soviet times on the other bank of the canal there was the Stalin Monument of the same size, from which now you can only see a pedestal.
When leaving the city, you can take a traditional photo as a memento near the "Dubna" stele.
I recommend dinner on the way to Moscow. You can do it in the restaurant "Venice", which is located in Lobnya. Pleasant prices, varied menu, friendly staff - this is what you need after a busy day.
