It's time for a snack and a rest. Lunch will be held in a very cozy cafe on the river bank. The menu offers dishes for every taste. I advise to try meat and fish cooked on coals and freshen up with delicious homemade lemonade. Bon appetit!
Square dedicated to the liquidators of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. From the Tver region the liquidators of the accident were about 3000 people. There is a monument depicting a man with his hands stretched out to the side, which symbolizes the protection of people from radiation.
We'll make a stop by the obelisk. It's open on the 29th anniversary of Tver's liberation from the Nazi invaders. On holidays, the Victory Flame is lit on top.
The monument is located opposite the place from where the famous merchant and traveler went to India. A massive bronze statue is mounted on the observation deck, which is stylized as a ship's deck and the bow of the ship is made in the form of a horse's head.
We will walk along the embankment, get some fresh air and enjoy the view of the Volga River. Here you get great pictures!
Our journey is coming to an end. Dinner will take place in a restaurant of Caucasian cuisine. Excellent khinkali, khachapuri and many other things are served here! Pleasant atmosphere, polite staff!
